A Perfect Day in Istanbul With a Car and Chauffeur
A realistic eight-hour route through Istanbul that avoids the queues, the parking and the exhaustion.

Why hourly hire works so well here
Istanbul is a city of short distances and long journeys. Sultanahmet to Karaköy is three kilometres and forty minutes. A car with a chauffeur removes the two things that ruin a day out: finding parking and renegotiating a fare every time you move.
09:00 — Old city, early
Start at Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque before the tour groups arrive. Your driver drops you at the top of the square and waits nearby. Two hours on foot, no taxi queue afterwards.
11:30 — The Grand Bazaar, briefly
Ninety minutes is enough for a first visit. Ask the driver to meet you at a specific gate — the bazaar has more than twenty entrances, and this is exactly where a waiting car saves an hour of wandering.
13:00 — Lunch on the water
Ortaköy or Karaköy for a long lunch. The car waits; you do not think about meters.
15:00 — The Bosphorus
A short ferry from Beşiktaş or a drive up to Emirgan for tea with a view. If you prefer the water, the driver will be at the pier on the other side when you land.
17:30 — Nişantaşı or Kadıköy
Choose one, not both. Shopping in Nişantaşı, coffee and streets in Kadıköy. Crossing to the Asian side at this hour takes 45 minutes; it is worth it once, not twice.
20:00 — Dinner, then home
Book a table and let the car handle the last move of the day. A fixed hourly booking covers the fuel, the waiting and the driver's time, so a change of plan costs nothing extra.
What to book
Eight hours of chauffeured hire covers this route comfortably, including waiting time at every stop. If your day ends at the airport, tell us at booking and the drop-off is included in the plan.
Prefer to have it arranged for you?
Send us your flight, dates and luggage; we confirm the car and the price before you land.
